Old obscure proggy, psychedelic shit that gets my juices flowing

Last night I listened to Opeth's prog nerd Mikael Åkerfeldt on public radio talking about old neglected records, mostly German band Lucifer's Friend. A band featured on MP3 Shuffle #109.

It somehow got me thinking of this post I had cooked up for today, with progressive rock/psychedelia/jazz fusion/whatever from the 70s and 80s. Several Germans, but also some Japanese, Swedish and even Brazilian bands. All good, but I particularly recommend Galaxy-Lin and Atlas.

Sure, yodel cult rockers Focus aren't very obscure, and the same of course goes for Yes, but I dare say that most of you are unfamiliar with the rest. Not anymore though - listen and learn.
