Since my countdown of the 30 best albums of the 90s was such a big hit last year, I was thinking of doing a similar list for the 00s. I've put it on hold (let's face it, everyone and their uncle was doing it recently, for obvious reasons) but I think the time has come to start working on it.
The question is: should it be heavy music only (ie rock, punk, metal) like the top 30 albums of the 90s countdown, or should it also include other types of music like the top 30 albums of 2009 countdown?
Whaddaya think, folks?
Here's something to listen to while you leave a comment:

Jaha, får man vara jobbig och önska en kombo då?
En stor uppräkning och genomgång av metalplattorna på den här siten, och när det är dags för "wrap-up" så presenteras även en alternativ lista som involverar alla genrer?
Vore kul att se hur "nr 4 på metallistan" står sig när alla kategorier kommer med.
Men det kanske blir för mycket jobb.
I så fall säger jag - enbart hård musik på den här bloggen. Annan musik = Metal Bastard Goes Soft!
Both?
As long as there is some edge to it and a little power - go for it.
2-"disc" set: one with Metal and the other with everything else.

I say: go for all kinds of music. In fact, you should take both of your blogs (this and "Goes Soft") and make one single special. ¿What do you think?
Jorge: What do you mean, a metal top 30 here and a soft top 30 on the other one?
Metal, punk and rock only. That's what I look for when I visit this site.
I was thinking of one single countdown for both blogs. A merge between blogs, if you know what I mean.
Oh. I see.
Yeah, that could work.
Stick with the heavy stuff for this blog. \m/
