And by "covers himself" I don't mean he's playing ghost with a sheet over his head. Although I'm sure he loves doing that every now and then, because who doesn't?
No, I mean that his latest album Belus (which I like more with each listen) has a track entitled Belus' Død, a black metalized version of the song Dauði Baldrs, off the album of the same name. Which of course is one of the two rubbish electronic ambient albums Vikernes made in prison while serving time for the murder of Euronymous.
Either I'm really slow or half-deaf, because it took me a good twenty listens before I even realised it was the same song.
Perhaps I can be excused though, as Dauði Baldrs is so fucking terrible it's hard to maintain focus while listening to it, with the least convincing computerized strings I've ever heard and some sort of farting sounds which I can only assume are meant to be saxophones. I'm not sure though.

i'm not gonna bash burzum or varg too much because he's somewhat of an artist in his own way
but the sound quality throws me off completely
could be good or it could be bad.
hmmm dunno
okay fuck this
it sounds like someone stranded on gilligan's island is getting fucked up the ass and everyone is ignoring it and laughing.
