partypartypartypartypartypartypartyparty

Few people put me in a better mood than Andrew WK, the Andy Kaufman of the 21st century.

His excellent third album Close Calls With Brick Walls has finally been released outside Asia after four years of legal trouble. It comes with a bonus disc of an additional 70 minutes of brand new music.

Sadly, this bonus disc is nowhere near as good as the original album. On the original disc Andrew WK shed his rocker skin and emerged as his generation's Elton John. Big words, but they're true. The three tracks below are taken from this rather lacklustre bonus disc.

But by all means go and buy the record for the first disc alone. Excellent it be.

If songs like I Came For You, The Rubber Room, One Brother, You Will Remember Tonight and fantastic Hand On The Place don't convince you of Andrew WK's genius I can do nothing but pity you.
