2010 so far

A third of the year has almost passed and it's time to quickly and flippantly run through some of the records I've heard so far in 2010. Most bloggers same this sort of stuff for the six month mark, but that's for pussies.

These ratings reflect my opinion at this precise moment and might change.

Basia Bulat - Heart Of My Own
High On Fire - Snakes For The Divine
Ihsahn - After
She & Him - Volume Two
The Tallest Man On Earth - The Wild Hunt

1349 - Demonoir
Darkthrone - Circle The Wagons
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis
Hooded Menace - Never Cross The Dead
Khoma - A Final Storm
Mondo Cane - S/t
Roky Erickson With Okkervil River - True Love Cast Out All Evil
Tracy Thorn - Love And Its Opposite

Melissa Auf der Maur - Out Of Our Minds
Brant Bjork- Gods & Goddesses
Deftones - Diamond Eyes
Immolation - Majesty And Decay
In Mourning - Monolith

Burzum - Belus
Johnny Cash - Ain't No Grave
Lair of the Minotaur - Evil Power
Pure Soundart - S/t
Ov Hell - The Underworld Regime
Soulfly - Omen
Triptykon - Eparistera Daimones
The White Stripes - Under Great White Northern Lights

Asteroid - II
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat The Devil's Tattoo

Jumpiter - Trucks

And finally, some songs that have nothing to do with any of this:

(mp3) Josh Homme - All the same
Available on The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002)

(mp3) Andrew W.K. - Ready to die
Available on I Get Wet (2001)

(mp3) Stone Temple Pilots - "Unglued"
Available on Purple (1994)

If you, my little sauna darling, learn to read you'll notice I clearly stated that these are SOME of the new albums I've heard so far this year.

You will also see that Dillinger and Johnny Cash are indeed included.

Barren Earth? I forgot to include them.

Fear Factory, Alcest and Red Sparowes bored me.

Haven't heard Rotten Christ, Deathbound or Borknagar.
