The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the denial of Johnson's appeal. The court's March ruling acknowledged that Johnson's first lawyer might have been mentally ill during his trial, that he did not press hard to admit certain testimony and that he behaved unprofessionally during jury selection.

No comments on hardly anything of late, so I thought I'd add my two cents' worth and just give a belated thanks for the Opeth track of a few weeks' back.
I visit this blog more than most other sites, even if my tastes seem to be mellowing the older I get. Can the buzz metal once gave last forever?
That entire Zen Guerrilla album is awesome (Trance States in Tongues), but you picked a standout tune from it.... the David Bowie cover at the end is totally amazing too.
Those guys made one more decent record for Sub Pop, and then kinda disappeared.... I always thought the son Evening Sun was as soulful as they got, though there's a track on Positronic Raygun that rivals it.
Haven't though of ZG for a while, great Spring/Summer music, thanks!
